OUR SERVICES

Inspire Child Foundation (ICF) was founded by Makena Brandon to champion inclusion, awareness, and empowerment for children with developmental disabilities.

The foundation was initially conceived under the name Heart for Children, before evolving into Inspire Child Foundation, reflecting a broader vision to Help, Build, and Inspire communities to support every child’s potential.

ICF is a community-based public benefit initiative committed to improving the lives of children with autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental challenges through programs that combine compassion, action, and advocacy.

1. Therapy Access and Support

ICF works to make therapy services more accessible and affordable for children and families by:

  • Connecting families with certified therapists and therapy centers.

  • Supporting community and school-based therapy initiatives.

  • Advocating for subsidized therapy in public institutions.

2. Inclusive Education Support

We promote inclusive learning environments for children with special needs by:

  • Partnering with schools to enhance special needs education programs.

  • Advocating for trained teachers, accessible facilities, and adaptive materials.

  • Supporting early intervention and educational assessments.

3. Parental and Caregiver Empowerment

We believe inclusion begins at home. ICF supports families through:

  • Training sessions and counseling for parents and caregivers.

  • Support groups for shared experiences and emotional wellness.

  • Guidance on therapy management and home-based care.

4. Awareness and Advocacy

ICF drives change through awareness and advocacy campaigns that challenge stigma and build understanding by:

  • Conducting community and school awareness programs.

  • Engaging local and national media to promote acceptance.

  • Advocating for stronger policy and institutional support.

5. Community Outreach Programs

We extend our services beyond centers and schools through:

  • Mobile therapy and medical outreach clinics.

  • Early screening and child development assessments.

  • Referrals and follow-up support for identified families.

6. Research and Capacity Building (Future Initiative)

ICF plans to establish a research and training program that will:

  • Support data-driven advocacy and intervention.

  • Develop learning resources for teachers, caregivers, and health workers.

  • Build a foundation of local knowledge on developmental disabilities.

Through these services, Inspire Child Foundation (ICF) continues to create pathways of hope, empowerment, and opportunity—ensuring that every child, regardless of ability, has the chance to live, learn, and thrive.
